




Mobile CBRN Decontamination Station Large Capacity.
CBRN Decontamination Station available in two versions (Container or Frame-Mounted). Providing Decontamination Capabilities to Specialist CBRN Units for Decontamination of People, Vehicles, Equipment, Ground and Electronic Equipment.
PDPOL (multitasking rapid deployment CBRN Decontamination system), provides in an integrated platform large capacity on CBRN Decontamination capabilities required by First Responder and Emergency units.
It is based on a configurable platform that can be adapted to several truck. Its innovative development enables to be configurated as Frame-Mounted Platform or Container ISO 20″ 1C.
Multitasking Decontamination Capabilities are provided by ATILA Decontamination Equipment.
Personnel Decontamination
PDPOL as standard equipment includes two Modular Mobile Decontamination Showers, which provides personnel decontamination up to 96 people per hour (considering decontamination protocol of 3 minutes per person).
Each Portable Decontamination Shower has two decontamination lines, and in each of the lines the two decontamination phases of people can be carried out (Decontamination and Rinse). In addition, its modularity allows the Portable Shower to be enabled with 2 different configurations: one for valid persons and another for injured persons in need of assistance or persons with disabilities.
Materials Decontamination
Decontamination Equipment ATILA provides steam decontamination capabilities (up to 210º) for the decontamination of armaments, First Responders protective suits, helmets, boots, etc.
Vehicles Decontamination
PDPOL as standard equipment includes a complete set of decontamination lances for each of the decontamination equipment: SICUT liquid lance, underchasis lance and fixed bottom decontamination platform.
This allows deploying two decontamination lines for vehicles (one for each ATILA) that can work simultaneously, providing a maximum decontamination capacity of up to 32 light vehicles per hour (considering decontamination protocol of 3,8 minutes per light vehicle).
Ground Decontamination
PDPOL as standard equipment includes ground decontamination bar (which can be located both on the back and the front of the vehicle), providing a decontamination capacity of up to 25,000 m2 per hour.
Decontamination of Sensitive Materials and Electronic Equipment
PDPOL as standard equipment includes SMD Portable: portable decon system for decontamination of sensitive materials and electronic equipment. SMD Portable provides First Response equipment with necessary capabilities for the decontamination (manually) of electronic equipment and sensitive materials contaminated with chemical agents, while preserving the functionality and integrity of said equipment.
This capability is especially important in the Defense and Security of Critical Infrastructures, currently one of the biggest concern about hazmat and CBRNe incidentes worlwide.
PDPOL as standard equipment includes two units of Decontamination Equipment ATILA 18-230, which provides extra capability to First Responders to carry out at same time and simultaneously two different decontamination activities: decontamination of vehicles, people or material, in fact, means double decontamination capabilities of emergency units to face and manage CBRNe incidents.
First Responders are Teams and Units responsible for CBRNe incidents management in first moments when those happen. Their main objective is to minimize the effects and consequences of incidents caused by chemical (TICs or CWAs), biological or radiological agents.
CBRN capabilities required by First Intervention and Emergency Units include: Protection, Detection and Decontamination. All this is conditioned by the parameter speed of deployment. Since First Responders must manage limited response time that contamination caused by CBRN agents allows to be able to minime the risk of human lives loss.
Reaction capacity is conditioned by Time of Effect of the CBRN agents: maximum response time for medical assistance of contaminated people by an agent before death of affected person is irreparable.
Time of Effect varies according to agent nature, being especially critical chemical agents and toxins (biological agents) having an time of effect of only 1 hour. In the case of biological agents (such as Virus or Bacteria) time of effect can be extended from 2 to 16 days.
“Guidelines for First Respondents to a CBRN Incident” published by the Civil Protection Group, NATO Civil Emergency Planning is one of the main references in the developed countries about the protocols and capacities with which Defense and Security Agencies and Institutions of the countries to deal with an incident with radiological, chemical (CWAs or TICs) and biological agents. Considering CBRN incident in its broadest sense: whether caused by a terrorist attack or by an accident.
This “Guidelines for First Respondents to a CBRN Incident” highlights four main phases in managing these incidents:

CBRN protocols consider it necessary to have Decontamination Capabilities in the second, third and fourth phases.
In the second phase, for the decontamination of people and emergency materials.
In the third phase, for the decontamination of people and all their personal properties.
In the fourth phase, for the decontamination of First Responder Interverners (including their Protection equipment and vehicles), decontamination of the hospitals used to treat those affected, decontamination of the buildings and grounds of the scenario.
